The oden comes in assortments of 5 or 7 ingredients, making it easy to order a light bite on your own or sample several items. One diner reported that their 7-piece assortment included black hanpen, daikon, chicken wings, chikuwa-bu, chikuwa, deep-fried tofu and egg. They found that each ingredient had absorbed the flavour of the broth. The assortment is a chance to try familiar oden favourites alongside chicken wings.
